Shekhar Pradhan is a faculty member in the computer science department at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is also the founder and president of Docunexus, Inc., a company that creates products in the enterprise search engine space.  He has a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Maryland in College Park. In addition to Marist College, Shekhar has taught computer science at Vassar College, University of Kansas, and Kansas State University. His current research interests are in search engine technology, social network analysis, and computational linguistics.
