Jason R. Baron Director of Litigation National Archives and Records Administration

Jason R. Baron has served as the National Archives’ Director of Litigation for the past 10 years, and is an internationally recognized speaker and author on the subject of electronic records. He serves as Co-Chair of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1, is a member of the working group's Steering Committee, and has been Editor in Chief of Sedona's Best Practices Commentary on the Use of Search and Information Retrieval Methods in E-Discovery (2007) and Co-Editor in Chief of Sedona's Commentary on Achieving Quality in E-Discovery (2009). Mr. Baron previously served for a dozen years as a trial attorney and senior counsel at the Department of Justice. He is a founder of the TREC Legal Track, and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland's graduate School of Information Studies, where he teaches e-discovery. Mr. Baron received his degrees from Wesleyan University and Boston University School of Law.
